Dr. Pilar Pichon, MD
Dr. Pichon is a graduate of Albany Medical College in New York. She did her Pediatric and Child Neurology Residency Training at Loma Linda University. She obtained her Fellowship in Clinical Neurophysiology with Emphasis in Pediatric Epilepsy from Emory University/ Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. She did her elective in Intraoperative Monitoring (IOM). She also immersed herself in educational opportunities at the Marcus Autism Center, one of only five NIH-designated Autism Centers of Excellence in the country. Her special interests include Epilepsy, Epilepsy Surgery, and Autism. She collaborated with UCLA researchers to study the visual processing of children with Tuberous Sclerosis Complex. She was awarded a research grant to study neurodevelopmental outcomes of children with congenital heart disease. She advocates for children and their families to obtain the best care and services that they need.
