Dr. Joyce Cabrera

Dr. Cabrera graduated with her Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from Loma Linda University.   Her work over the past 36 years includes working for or contracting with California Children Services, Intermediate Care Facilities for Developmental Disabilities (children and adults), SART, and Loma Linda University.  She is SIPT certified and has been trained in the STAR model for Sensory Processing Disorder.  For her doctoral capstone she developed an educational program for elementary school teachers, teaching them about the sensory needs for students, and also developed the Introductory to Sensory Processing course for Loma Linda occupational therapy master level students. She is currently a contract instructor with Loma Linda University – Occupational Therapy Department, and was fortunate to begin working with the Inland Empire Autism Assessment Center of Excellence since its opening.  Joyce enjoys working with children and their families to help them live life to their fullest potential.
