Dr. Chalmer McClure, MD, PhD
Dr. McClure is an associate professor in the departments of Pediatrics and Neurology at Loma Linda University School of Medicine (LLUSM). He originally joined the division of Child Neurology at Loma Linda University Children’s Hospital in 1998. Before rejoining Loma Linda University, he was a partner in the Southern California Permanente Medical Group from 2011 through 2017. He received his medical degree in 1992 from LLUSM, did his pediatric training at Loma Linda Children’s Hospital (1992-94), and completed his training in Child Neurology at the Baylor College of Medicine/Texas Children’s Hospital (1995-98). He is board certified in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology. Dr. McClure has additional degrees in Anatomy from Loma Linda University Graduate School (MS 1984, PhD 1989). He participated as site investigator in several multicenter stroke studies through the International Pediatric Stroke Study Group. In clinic, Dr. McClure sees general Pediatric Neurology patients, while also serving as a consulting Child Neurologist for the Autism Assessment Centers in San Bernardino and Riverside.
